Biography

Mistress Ramona Ryder was born and raised in Manhattan. After some time spent in the Bay Area, she currently resides in NYC with a cat, an astounding vinyl collection, and hopefully a soon to be acquired 1978 Suzuki GS motorcycle. She has been an avid motorcycle rider since 2013 when she got a 1980 Honda CM 400 T. Before following that dream, she chased many others with a passion. She graduated from university with a BA in philosophy. After this, she became a geriatric social worker as she spent many years volunteering with the elderly and interning at summer jobs in that population. Her work helping the elderly, from Holocaust survivors to those residing in lower Manhattan’s toughest neighborhoods, was very rewarding.

Mistress Ramona was able to get more active in the music community during this time and became a vibrant figure in the NYC punk scene, booking punk shows and playing in bands. She started booking shows by volunteering at ABC No Rio, where she attended her first punk show in high school. ABC No Rio had weekly Saturday matinees as a reaction to CBGB’s violent Sunday matinees and to raise money for the building. The building, a former squat in the Lower East Side, served as a community center and had many resources and programs offered at the space. ABC No Rio was a community space first and a venue second. Booking bands led to singing in bands and touring the US and Canada extensively with her bands and other bands.

Mistress Ramona Ryder left NYC for San Francisco to work at the internationally renowned punk magazine, Maximum Rocknroll, when it was still in print. She focused mainly on magazine distribution, writing record reviews, and having a radio show. Her radio show was always analog. She enjoyed having her friends who were visiting SF come on as guest DJs on her shows. Maximum Rocknroll had the largest collection of punk vinyl records when it was still active. Having access to the collection, filled with original pressings and rare records, was a dream for her and she loved to share this experience with her friends.

Eventually Mistress Ramona wanted more life stability, which punk rock could not afford her. She did a 180 career wise once again. She got her paralegal certificate and worked in trust and estate law as well as some tax preparation. She enjoyed this intellectually challenging work and the conservative outfits she wore to hide her tattoos. She knew that she had to keep her punk rock attitude and goth aesthetic under wraps and a pleasurable secret. Dressing up in pencil skirts with conservative flats amused her very much. She even wore glasses to work to complete her disguise in the 9-5 world. After two years, Mistress Ramona got laid off and a woman in her all-female punk band at the time suggested she try domming. Her old wardrobe was definitely going to serve her well for office role play!

Mistress Ramona was excited about being a professional Dominatrix as she could then be herself all the time- a punk rocker who rode motorcycles in miniskirts and is covered in tattoos. No more double life! The underground world of sex work seemed like a refuge from our restrictive society. Mistress Ramona had always been hypersexual and dominant in all relationships. Punk fashion channeled BDSM culture so she was able to explore alternative sexuality beginning with that scene. Since day one, Mistress Ramona was a success and immediately made deep and lasting connections with her clientele.

Mistress Ramona Ryder has been a professional dominatrix and escort since 2016. She has changed the face of luxury escorting by blending her style and kink into the experience. Her name comes from her love of the Ramones and her being a motorcycle rider. Mistress Ramona was still living in San Francisco, where she had access to a plethora of resources at places such as Kink.com’s Kink University. She took advantage of all SF had to offer and has trained under many famed alternative sexuality experts. Out of SF’s plethora of teachers, Cleo DuBois was one of them, and this Dominatrix has had a lasting impact on Ramona Ryder. Cleo DuBois’ brand of kink blended kindness and spirituality with BDSM and Mistress Ramona blended a higher level of sensual pleasure into this perfect combination. Mistress Ramona has also studied latex, anal play, shibari, needle play, and tantra immersion to name a few.

n a way, Mistress Ramona was monomaniacal about learning everything she could about anything involving alternative sexuality. Mistress Ramona has had a riveting career as a professional sex worker. She built her own private dungeon incall when she still lived in the Bay Area. She had unusual items such as a latex vacuum bed and a Venus 2000 and of course had ceiling mirrors installed. Mistress had it all by the time she decided to leave the Bay- her own incall, two vintage Honda motorcycles, a manual Saab hatchback she adored, and an extremely accomplished kinky escort brand based in SF. But in 2019, sadly for the Bay, the love for her clients and material success was not enough to keep her from returning home to the ultimate love of her life, NYC.

After Mistress Ramona rid herself of an insane array of kink gear and her beloved vintage Honda motorcycles, she landed in a beautiful Gramercy Park incall. Living in NYC is her favorite place to live as she is inspired by the energy of the city. Everything was meant to be with her move back to Manhattan and she seamlessly transitioned once again. Mistress Ramona still frequently tours San Francisco as she could never leave her beloved clients. Mistress Ramona also continues to tour Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and Washington, DC. She has friends all over the country from her time spent in punk bands and loves getting flown to cities by benefactors and seeing her loyal Ramona men.

It'll be interesting to see where Mistress Ramona is in a few years. She considers herself a writer and enjoys letting her Ramona men get to know her better with her frequent mailing list emails and blog posts. She took a memoir writing class during the height of the pandemic and got very good feedback and even a suggestion to submit to the Paris Review. Her passions have not changed much, being NYC history and architecture, punk rock, sexuality, kink, motorcycles, and collecting vinyl records. Mistress Ramona predicts that she will remain in NYC and have published at least one book in another few years. Sign up for the mailing list for Mistress announcements and stay tuned!
